Establishing an occupational health & safety management system based on ISO 45001

With this book, Sadiq provides a clear explanation of ISO 45001 and how organisations can use its requirements to create a safer work environment.

Breaking down the Standard’s complex terminology into simple language, this book is the perfect introduction to ISO 45001.

It’s ideal for those involved in any aspect of an OHSMS, including project managers, lead implementers and senior management.

You’ll discover:

  • How to build an OHSMS in a step-by-step approach;
  • The purpose and the requirements of each clause of ISO 45001;
  • How the requirements can be fulfilled by an organisation; and
  • The definitions of the roles and responsibilities of leadership.

You’ll also see examples of scenarios that require ISO 45001 compliance and how an organisation should handle that situation.

This includes discussion of sample forms and procedures, as well as general advice on ISO 45001 compliance.

Establishing an occupational health & safety management system based on ISO 45001 is available in physical, eBook, ePub and Kindle formats. Find out which format is right for you with our handy guide.

What’s next?

Sadiq is currently researching health and safety in a broader scale. He’s particularly interested in how occupational safety is linked to social inequity and low wages.

“If the adversity of time afflicts even a single individual at a workplace, is it possible for the others to remain in a state of bliss?

“More than every professional and legal obligation, it is our humanity that must call for processes and systems that are safe and healthy for every human being.”
